That’s the name of Bex’s Maine Coon Kitten!

After a bit of grocery shopping in Darlington we continued our northward journey for about an hour and half to first have a look at Warkworth Castle (impressive but expensive) - one of the many ancient castles in Northumberland. Then we took an exhilarating walk along the break water and barefoot on the sandy, dog-free beach at Warkworth Beach. Followed by an amazing (heavenly) experience at Morwick Dairy, where I had the best Rhubarb and Ginger ice cream with real bits of candied ginger in it. It was made on the farm using fresh raw milk. Delicious!! So good that we had to bring back a couple of tubs to keep in our freezer for later!
Then onwards about another half hour to Bex’s little house in Morpeth. We met her new kitten and then walked to the town for a delicious dinner at an Italian Restaurant.
