Roadwork

I don't quite know what they've been doing ('they' being ArizonaDepartmentOfTransportation); something on the hard shoulder up and down several miles of SR260.

       Past couple of days have been a bit confused . . . one of Kathy's appointmensts was rescheduled but the day wasn't made clear so we made an unnecessary trip 'over the hill' yesterday and now today Kathy has had to wait for a tele-conference . . .

     I saw elk this morning and made a note to go watch them and maybe snap a blip or two - then the roadworks happened and scuppered that plan as the work was right where I would have pulled off the road to observe them.  A large group of cow elk hanging about the pasture where they often sett up their nursery for a while.
