Adventure at lake Saimaa

What an amazing day at lake Saimaa! We spent last night in our boat, alone again at the shore of Peräsaari. In the morning we drove to meet Raija and her husband. They were guides for us to search for Saimaa ringed seals and we found three of them! We were so lucky, specially my husband who have dreamed to see them for years. Had some pics too, but I'll handle them later. We drove to Äyrätsalo to overnight and check out the beautiful wild nature, the island has several ponds and swamps. We saw and heard so much but after a couple of hours' hiking we set the fire, had some traditional meal by the fire outside. We heard a sound of thunder and the thunder storm was a big one, this was shot before it started to rain. Heavy rain, thunder and lightnings for hours in the night. We are safe, so is the boat.
