The willow catkins by the Cairn Water add a splash of brightness to our walk on a dull day. Jess had a swim  and I noticed the first of the wood anemones blooming amongst the wild garlic. It was also a lot milder today, now that the biting east wind has dropped.

This afternoon I met Mary at DG1 and swam a mile.

We had my new favourite lentil dish for tea - green lentils cooked with miso and leeks :-)
