A day in the life

Geraniums

I woke up to a completely still and sunny morning, breakfast outside was had in the company of birdsong. After breakfast I moved all my Geraniums outside, nearly all of them seems to have made it over winter, some didn't but there are plenty of cuttings to be had from the others. I'll let them acclimatise themselves for a few days before I start tidying them up and put them where they want to be. Most spring things is at least a week earlier this year, yesterday I heard both the nightingale and the cuckoo for the first time this year.

All afternoon was spent at the theatre, an amateur theatre festival has been going on since Friday, I only worked during the last couple of performances. Not only do kids and young people perform, several adult plays were on the stage as well, the last play was by Harold Pinter ("The dumb waiter) and was a rather dark play.
