Stump

I was driving past this house in Corrales, New Mexico when I spotted a huge tree trunk next to it.  Trees of this size are pretty rare in our high desert tundra.  I wish I could have seen it in total growth.

This morning, I was surprised to find that it was raining! I had forgotten how wonderful it is to sleep when it is raining.  I think I will go back to bed...
