I’ve been listening to a very interesting podcast all about soaking and fermenting food. Have been trying to eat more of the fermented stuff for a while (photo is of my latest sauerkraut being made this afternoon) but soaking is new to me. I soaked some nuts last night and put them in the oven for 20 mins today with olive oil, salt and pepper. It takes some planning to eat this way, but I quite like it. I’m used to it with sourdough now. One more step on the food journey…
