My first ever picture in Raw and AEB to get HDR. Now that sounds like a foreign language does it?

   @Canterbury: try Raw, the file sizes are huge, but it's so much more flexible when it comes to post-processing.

12. AEB
    Most DSLRs (and some more advanced compact cameras) come with a feature called ?Automatic Exposure Bracketing? (AEB) which can be useful to learn how to use in such situations.
    
    By selecting it you can quickly take three shots (usually three) at different exposures without having to manually change any settings between frames.
    
    I have set AEB to -2 0 +2 for a full range and take 3 pictures. 5 would be better but my camera can not do that automatically.
    
    Use a tripod!!!!!!!

18. I agreed...I think the real skill with HDR shots is not being able to tell they're HDR....great shot and very subtle!
