Wednesday 17 March 2010: Aged
A ten minute wander (rather than a ten minute wonder) through the gardens and churchyard in the midst of a busy busy day. I liked the peeling stonework on this aging gravestone.
Its been around a lot longer than me!
... still no news ...
Edit: just seen the one year ago pie lined procession blip - one of my personal favourites :-)

LOTD: Delph Wynd Daily's "Project(or)" blip is a fab effect. Really striking colours and contrast.

Dramatic angle on this - nice crisp focus, too.
I like that effect where the water gets behind the surface of the stone and makes it crumble and kink from the inside.

love the details and contrast in this.

Aged like me and how I feel.
Nice one.

Beautiful macro, aging carved words. You must be mad with waiting for something to happen!
~ acronymphomania

Niiice. Count every day of waiting as another day of sleep? Dunno, you (collectively) must be coming up with your own inventive ways of getting through all this.

This is ageing very nicely. I love the pitted and cracked lettering.
