Sunday 12 February 2012: Cough

Aidan has been to bed and is back up after a massive coughing fit. He is now sipping a honey and lemon drink, as his dad holds up the iPad so he can watch Charlie and Lola. He is still coughing... I think it is going to be one of those nights...
Great day today at home. Aidan played, Niamh squealed and babbled and hubby and I got some house things done.
Couldn't be bothered cooking so we went out for a late lunch, early dinner. Yummy roast beef and a glass of red. Niamh was great considering we were there for almost two hours. Aidan was so polite and well behaved in the restaurant. Makes me feel so proud. :-) he got a big ice cream sundae as a treat.
When we got home, Aidan did some painting and I gave Niamh her dinner. Weaning is still a bit of a hit or a miss. She had a couple of spoonfuls but wasn't overly impressed with her jar of baby food. I will return to the homemade stuff tomorrow and see if that's any better.
