Sunday 14 March 2010: July poles in March
I looked the name of these heaps of hay and they seem to be named in English July poles. The name fits well for the dates you usually see them.
On our hikes we have passed them all the autumn and winter. It was snowing today. The poles have now stylistic hats, so it was time for them to be blipped.

Interesting scene with the haystacks! Yesterday we saw a man making haystacks out of reeds on sea ice in Espoo...

Those hats are at a jaunty angle.
It still looks like spring is a while off yet.

for processing portraits i always try to keep their originality/natural look and make them look better (child portraits are exception)!
contrast adjustment and improving the details is mostly what i apply on them but after all it depends on the image! and sometimes i may do heavy processing on it but i always make sure not to loose its natural sense!

it was really impressive to hear those words from you! i remember your portraits! incredible is what i can tell about them! and i'm looking forward to see more (it's a while they're absent!)!
i'm a beginner at portrait photography but i'm really liking it! any advice or criticism would be appreciated on it :)
