16 July 2001 - I thought I'd update my blurb but quite frankly there isn't much to add. Still experiementing with whatever takes my fancy - still learning and hopefully still producing half decent images - I try to keep my standards up :)

Meanwhile I'll leave what I wrote when I joined - it all still applies:

Hello everyone - I thought it was about time I said something - the tricky bit is what to say...

Those already familiar with my images will note a definite leaning towards brown paper bags, huge hats and masks - any way to cover up face quite simply. I also find the results far more pleasing as having a recognisable face personalises an image - I prefer the anonymity of covered faces and people can make of them what they will.

Flowers are also another favoured subject - mostly because a) they're pretty b) they stay still (although I consider pegs, clamps, tape, wire, pins etc perfectly acceptable if they prove reluctant to stay in precisely the right place) and c) are cheap or free.

Sadly much of my life is spent working to pay the mortgage but the rest of the time is spent either taking photos, thinking about images, working on them, planning them or drinking very very very large vodkas - neat....
