It was touch and go whether i was going to post today... but i couldnt resist playing with the off camera flash some more...
Today i got a 1tb external hard drive through the post... nice1... no more deleting stuff to save drafts of images :D
also, the off camera flash i found for full body shots just wasnt able to do what i wanted on its own, as i had to have it in my hand to fire it not having a remote... so being the cunning genius that i am, i used a guitar channel pedal footswitch, a guitar lead and used those to fire the flash remotely from wherever i put it around the room.
the only thing i miss now with the shots is a muslin backdrop... i would love to get a black backdrop, as there just isnt the depth to get darkness with the range of room and the flash im using... so that'd be nice.
Other than that its been a pretty good day...
Last night after posting, i got asked to go and sit in on the local radio show, so i sat in for 3 hours on "the bridge" radio last night, just chatting, having a laugh and taking the pee... it was a good night, and i hope to do it again soon :)
