Wednesday 8 September 2010: Bark

After the school run today I took my cousin's little dog for a walk. In truth she chose our route today, but I made her stop so I could take some shots of a couple of trees - she was pulling on her lead eager to press on so I struggled to get a clear shot.

I love the patterns in the bark of this gnarly old tree.
