There isn't any recent activity for this journal.

At the moment I am taking photographs using my mobile phone. At some point I want to get a digital camera and would like to improve my skills.

(Bought a little digital camera on 8 July. It's nice to be able to get better close-ups with the zoom. Waiting to find my first bee!)

I don't imagine for one minute that I will be able to truly compete with many here - the standard is very high, but I really like the idea of having to choose just one picture to post and will try to do so most days.

The bee is an orange bottomed bumble bee.
