Greens for breakfast?

Returning to Arthur Bell (seen yesterday), I found a little friend had come to help. It was just like watching an automatic lawnmower, if there is such a thing. The ladybird began at the tip of the bud and munched its way to the bottom. Returning to the top up the hidden face of the bud it reappeared at the tip to begin the downward munch again..... fast food indeed. The bud had been covered in greenfly and now tracks show the clear leaf of the bud. The white bits are the shed skins of older ones who have matured and flown away to pester someone else. (this may show up by viewing large).

There were better anatomical photos of the ladybird, as well as blurry ones .... I seem to take a lot of those! However I felt, with Arthur showing up at bottom left, this was the one to blip. re yesterday's comment .. the camera never lies!

Rain is forecast so, while the sun is still out, I will return to the gardening maybe I will spot some other vegetarians having lunch ... I hope not too many.
