Chook

Monday 15 March 2010: O Tanjoobi Omedetoo*...

Daylight savings might have started in the northern hemisphere, but it appears we're experiencing a summer revival. Didn't leave work until 7.30pm as had to do my detention but, when I finally did, headed straight to the beach to enjoy a walk on the sand, a warm evening and the last of the day's light. Lo-o-o-o-vely, apart from getting a whole lot of sand in my new (and extremely funky) hot pink tights.

One of the tasks in my class tomorrow night is to teach the others a non-medical skill (in six minutes). I'm going with how to sing Happy Birthday in Japanese...

*Title devoid of obscurity today.

  4. Nice big sky, but I'm struggling to understand how you got sand in your nice pink tights unless you were rolling about in the sand.............ohh.....ahem.......

Anyway, good luck with the birthday song. Take some cake and say, "Itadakimasu!"

  5. @Scobes: you rude man, you! The tights are patterned and so have gaps for sand to get in... Arigatoo gozaimasu for the tip...

Sand seems to get everywhere. I'm still finding sand from last month's Egyptian visit in things.
