About Doug Jackson Photography

Doug Jackson began his professional photographic career with Yorkshire Regional Newspapers over ten years ago. Prior to establishing himself as a freelance photographer, he worked for some of the North's leading newspapers including the Whitby Gazette, Scarborough Evening News, The Northern Echo and Darlington and Stockton times. Although Doug travels throughout the UK on assignments covering a diverse range of commissions, he chose to live in the North-East because of its beauty and his love for the moors and coast.
