Wednesday 8 April 2009: A clear channel
Progress in the kitchen made some leaps today. Kev the plumber and gas man came to do one of the major pieces of the jigsaw which was movign gas pipes under the floor. He said that in an old building like mine it is one of the mankiest jobs possible as it involves the lifting of huge quanitities of deafening - stuff to keep noise from carrying, which in the days when this place was built (1895) was lots and LOTS of gravel, dust, stones, and any other muck that could be found.
Kev has done a top job, and is due back on Tuesday to do the sink plumbing. Got the spark coming on Friday to do his bit, and then I start building those units!
