Update 2014: Having only blipped occasionally and then not at all for 11 months, I've now taken the 365 Challenge. I find it a great discipline and am going off auto mode more - and in fact am about to try and set myself a new technical challenge each week to try and improve my photography skills.

I look at so many journals on blip and feel both awed and at times overwhelmed by the skill, creativity and pure genius of so many of them. My efforts are very poor in comparison but increasingly I'm coming to terms with the fact that I can only do my best, that some of others' magic may rub off on me over time and that I'm doing this out of enjoyment and exploration and don't want that ruined by feeling anxious about my journal.

Another great thing about blipping is that I now write a daily poem of sorts and my journal really is becoming very important to me. I write quite a lot professionally for clients but have always dabbled in fiction and poetry and want to start concentrating on this more.

And of course, the other great thing about blipping is the fabulous community of fascinating people. You inspire me and I am truly, truly grateful to all the blippers who take time to look at and comment on my journal.
