Sunday 29 August 2010: Perth
Photot is of Perth, in Perthshire, Scotland, UK.
Today was a day out with the parents - and a first for them, as it was me dirving the whole way... New age definitely dawned.
We started by driving from Edinburgh up to Perth (nearly got lost no thanks to crap sign-posting) where we looked for ages for somewhere to park (Perth council seems to want to call its ring road a 'parking zone' marked with tha special white-on-blue 'P')
Lovely public garden next to the river, I have yet to assemble the panoramic shot.
And since Perth was pretty much dead on a Sunday afternoon, we headed to Auchterarder (not much there) and on to Glendevon (which we missed no thanks to crap signage again; so went to a neighbouring Glen-something) and had a pleasant stroll to the reservoir where there were people fishing. I found an upturned mushroom on the way to the reservoir, where people were fishing. Noticed on the way back the wind turbines.
And then back to Edinburgh.
That's the day. G'nite!
