Monday 21 May 2012: Kent Pride
I'm not certain that's the name of this Iris, but looking around online it seems the nearest I can find. I should label my plants and sometimes do but the labels get dug up and I've lost the one that identified this specimen. It's been great to come back to the garden when everything is happening.
It's Chelsea Flower Show this week and I've been a few times and it's certainly exciting, but it's very much an event for London's chattering classes. Yes you can be inspired but there's no better garden than one you've planted and nurtured yourself.
