About An Elegy of Sorts
"whenever we take a picture, we capture a moment that will never exist in exactly the same way again. every photo is an elegy of sorts, an immediate memorial to an instant that's gone forever."
about me:
i'm fred. i moved to l.a. from dublin, ireland about two years ago. i bought a camera last october, but didn't start using it until january of this year (2007). why? i'm not too sure! i've never owned a camera before so this is all new to me. some of my photos will be bad. some of them will be okay. and hopefully, some of them will be good. the point of it all is to try and shoot more and get better at this newfound avocation.
everybody should read this. and print it, and sign it, and hang it, and read it again, and again, and again.
