I've been taking pictures since I was a kid -- I was given a Polaroid when I was seven [really, I just stole it from my dad] and bought my first slr with babysitting money when I was 14 which, I'm afraid, was a very long time ago. I've been taking photos pretty diligently ever since and am so happy to have discovered this wonderful place as it gives me somewhere to put them.

I was born in New Jersey in the US and lived in a few different places (Massachusetts, Colorado and then NYC for almost 11 years), but have been in Edinburgh since 2005, and this is definitely home.

My Scottish husband and two little boys will probably make up the bulk of what I photograph as I'm doing this for them as much as I'm doing it for me, but also for that reason I'll try to go a bit bigger than just my inner-circle.
