About Little Mariner
The old man on board. Started in 1980 my carreer as apprentice on Crude & Product Tankers (Dutch Shell). After graduation (1982) Nautical College became third, second and chief officer on Gas Tankers (Koraal Scheepvaart Mij. / Anthony Veder).
Was promoted to captain in 1999 on Chemical Tankers (Jo Tankers, CTE and NST). In 2011 joined Anthony Veder again.
Served all these years only on board tankers.
It is my intention to photograph ordinary life extraordinary.
