Saturday 11 May 2013: Coucou!
Just a little hello from Larkyn and me, to let you all know we're still here. I know you all tell me not to apologize for not blipping or getting around to journals, but I do seriously miss you all and miss recording our lives on a daily basis. I have been really good about taking photos every day, and also record things about Larkyn in a journal, so hopefully I'll be able to catch up someday soon . . . however, we're just about ready to leave on a long trip and I doubt I'll be able to Blip much while away, so I'll be missing even more. Upon our return, I do hope to catch up and get back into Blip - I really miss you all!
Today was a busy day. My husband and I had a meeting to attend this morning so Larkyn stayed with her friends, Joelle and Jonathan. Joelle is 8 months older than Larkyn and Larkyn is 8 months older than Jonathan. So, they all have fun together.
This evening, Larkyn and I attended my sister-in-law's graduation party - she just finished Pharmacy school, and we're all very proud of her. Larkyn was having fun at the party, showing off her jumping skills to all who would watch. A fence along the side of their yard was made of this corrugated metal and I thought it made a perfect backdrop . . . couldn't use my normal shallow DoF because this is a photo from my iPod, but it was a fun effect . . .
