Monday 20 May 2013: Arriving

Hello!

Just an iPod photo, taken from inside the last plane of our voyage. We were in Switzerland visiting family last week, and just arrived on the island of Réunion tonight, where we will spend time with Larkyn's grandparents, whom she hasn't seen for two years, and her Uncle and his fiancée, both of whom she hadn't met before.

Larkyn was a trooper with all the travel - tired, but still good-natured. We flew 3 hours to Chicago, 9 hours to Paris, 7 hours by car to Switzerland, then, just a few days later, 7 hours back to Paris, 11 hours by plane to Mauritius, then just 45 minutes to Réunion!

This photo is of the mountains of Réunion peeking through the clouds - quite a sight to see!
