Thursday 26 January 2012: Burns Night

I was walking up towards the Dutch Mill to meet my colleagues who were out celebrating Burns Night. Unfortunately I couldn't get there for the meal because I had to wait for my dad to show up and fix my boiler.

For some reason there's a part for it that has a habit of perishing almost annually. Thankfully my Dad got shown how to replace it last time we had the folk from boiler services called out, so instead of costing me £80 to have it fixed, it just costs £5 for us to buy the part and replace it ourselves.

The burns night celebrations were good, with a free bar and it being someone's birthday, it was only ever going to end one way.

Exodus until 2 or 3am in the morning! Let's just say Friday morning was a bit of a struggle!

This photo was taken randomly by me during my walk up the road. I can't remember which company owns it but I thought it looked nice. Even if my iPhone camera doesn't really do it justice.
