I like to see things, but as a photographer you don't just see things, you see angles and light and shapes. You see what could be and what has been. You don't just think of the change of season as a different temperature and a different wardrobe, you see the new shadows that have been introduced, the new colours and the new light you see the change as a new challenge.

This year is going to be a whole new challenge for me. I have just finished studying photography - it's debatable if going to school for photography is a good thing... And I think if you go to learn the fundamentals about concepts and the technical side of your camera and how to use lights, then that is a wonderful way to do, and the way I have done. Don't go to school for photography for ideas. Thats not how it works. Anyway... This year has had a few changes already... I have moved out of home, I have a retail job (photography is expensive), and I am on the brink of diving head first into a photography business with my boyfriend - and soon to be business partner!

We have just seen the first drafts of our logo... then we'll have a website and then comes the fun part.

I want my life to have purpose and through the medium of photography I believe that this is possible.
