Heb Art

before reclamation

Today I explored the grounds of an old house which is up for sale. Previously owned by an eccentric elderly lady who seems to have been truly into her birds, the place is a shambles of wooden shelters and sheds in amongst overgrown trees and shrubs, which pile themselves over everything in sight, including every conceivable form of water container imaginable. Meshed compounds with decaying wood work covered in green are pushed into oblivion by briars and bluebells.

I wonder how much "tidying up" the new owners will do to this wilderness haven of a secret garden.
