November challenge; seasonal. Blipus Horizontalis

I have photographed Blipus Aqua, (the ‘water droplet blipper’) before, but this morning spotted a new variety, Blipus Horizontalis. This creature appears only at that time of year when the daytime sun is low in the sky. (See here)

It can be readily distinguished from the more common Blipus Aqua by tell-tale mud patches on knees and elbows and will often carry additional equipment such as a bean-bag or mini-tripod. This resourceful specimen also appears to have a roll of Duck Tape (or Gaffer Tape).

Incidentally, there are really only two essential items that should be in your tool bag; duct tape and WD40.

If it moves, but shouldn’t; use duct tape.
If it should move, but doesn’t; use WD40
