Monday 1 February 2010: Pollution
Took Barney over to the Valley, Meg at home still not able to make a walk, I think she realises she can't do it anymore and just looks with longing.
I got to Battery Pool with Barney and thought at first the pool was iced over, when I got nearer I saw there was a steady stream of frothy patches in a channel across to the other side, looks like someone has dumped something upstream.
A flying visit tonight as I'm packed and off to Poland. Going in the early hours of Wednesday so will grab a couple of hours sleep at Jane's after work tomorrow.
