Cold and Frosty Morning

A heavy frost this morning made for a perfect blue sky day.
Such a contrast from yesterday's grey wetness.

My first thought was to get a shot of the icy patterns on the car windscreens that featured on my Flickr page a few weeks ago but although they were heavily frosted the patterns were less intricate and interesting.

Disappointed I scouted the garden and these Hamamellis buds are always good for a shot of both frost and early growth.

This is a red one as you can just see by the beginning of a flower underneath the stem. My other interesting shot was of the frost on my pegs in the basket hanging on the rotary drier.

( Just proof read this and it said 'frost on my legs' brrrr!)
