They say the best camera is the one that's with you, and in my case that tends to be a battered Leica D-Lux. Actually, that's why it ended up so battered, because it does go everywhere with me.

So whilst I have other cameras I'm going to keep this journal going with just shots from the D-LUX if I can.

Even in the short time I've been keeping this blip I've surprised myself with the range of shots the camera has delivered. Bear in mind as well that I'm limiting myself to using the 1:1 aspect ratio and black and white.

For those interested I'm shooting RAW with 99.8% of post processing done in Lightroom 3 or 4 Beta.

Two additions I've made to the camera to make it more pocketable are to add the petal lens cap and a glass cover to the LED screen.
