I haven't seen too many of them this year and those I have seen have been too flighty to stop. It has been a hot, sunny day here and the butterflies were out in force.

A fabulous shot, perfect in fact. I have given up on butterflies. There haven't been enough to chase although I did see a pale orange one flitting about yesterday, always in the distance. The detail on this one is absolutely magnificent.
