Saturday 31 December 2011: American Coot

The usual suspects were hanging out down on the waterfront today. We had mallards, pintails, seagulls, canadian geese, and the newest arrival.....a few american coots. I've only seen these guys a few times and have never been fortunate enough to get a decent shot of one until today...
