Tuesday 22 May 2012: The Thames Path

Escaped from my PC mid afternoon and took the 10 minute cycle to the river.

Pushed my bike over Abingdon Weir and Lock, then locked it up and took a short stroll along the Thames Path going upstream towards Oxford. I only walked maybe half a mile. This was blipped on my return trip: you can just see the entrance to Abingdon Lock in the distance. A glorious afternoon.

Thanks so much for all your kind wishes yesterday. I feel back to my old self today and taking a break this afternon was like catching up on the weekend I missed! Think I will sleep well tonight after all that sunshine :)
