Tuesday 13 March 2012: Scrumdiddlyumptious

It was our annual art exhibition today. We are very fortunate that it is always so well supported by local people, family and friends. By ten o'clock, the first visitors were arriving.

While the art work was being displayed, a small army of helpers was in the kitchen, organising tea, coffee and soft drinks, and arranging a delicious assortment of tasty home baking onto plates and platters ready for placing on the tables.

My blip today shows a selection of cakes, tray bakes, shortbread and scones, the latter made by my daughter! She enjoyed making them. They were very tasty!

The day went well and our chosen charity Macmillan Nurses will benefit from the generosity of others.
