Half-French, half-Scottish, currently living in a fabulous little corner of rural NZ.

I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Auckland's Leigh Marine Lab, and work on sharks and rays. Evidently, this means that I'm both incredibly glamorous and super bad-ass. And definitely not sarcastic.

I love the ocean, love travelling and am an avid fan of anything involving food. I may or may not be easily bribable with cheese, gin, cake or coffee.

My knowledge of photography is rather limited - I'm a complete amateur, learning as I go. Equipped with a often sometimes uncooperative point-and-shoot camera and a phone that's had a little too much contact with seawater (one of the hazards of being a marine biologist), I'm really stacking the odds of a good photograph in my favour… All advice and tips welcome!
