Hooks

Back at Woodthorpe Library this morning, having to explain the workings of the service to two classes' worth of seven year olds and then spend the best part of an hour up a stepladder in the storeroom up to my elbows in the comms. cabinet restarting routers and other flashing-lights gubbins because all the computers had gone on the fritz... I quite like these hooks in the gents - there are quite a few old bits and bobs about the place that have been painted over with years of institutional emulsion. The building itself was put up in the forties or something as a temporary chapel until they'd built St. Marks Church up the hill - I presume these were a feature of the original cloakroom.
