Wednesday 30 July 2008 : "Honey, let's ask for directions."
The spider builds its tangled stairways
within the many walls of its summer abode.
Transient this structure is,
too for those unsuspecting insects that happen upon its synchronous beauty,
and while asking for directions become the repas du jour,
at least for that moment,
and a good web
makes for many tasty, happy moments...

fabulous shot, those webs are so beautiful in the sunlight.last time I saw a web like that, Mr B helpfully tore it down before I could get a picture! it was in the loo of our holiday accommodation, I guess he was anticipating my scream when the spider took residence!
