In the RNLI Sandcastle competition. What a travesty. Ours was easily the best!
Busy day, cooking, bit of work, lunch at the Mariners, Couple of hours on the beach at Old Hunstanton. I'm supposed to be going out now, like in three minutes, it's not happening, I'm knackered.

Edit- I did go out, to the fair again as it closed early yesterday. I have to share this story...

My wonderful Lena and family came to visit and spend Max's angelversary with us, 16th June. it was the first time her daughter Olivia has been to the beach. When they went home again, they started house hunting and moved here 5 weeks later. Lena also lost her son, Jack, to Neuroblastoma which is how we became friends. However when Jack was well, just before he was diagnosed actually, they took him and his baby brother Charlie to teh beach for the first time, Hunstanton beach, coincidently.
Lena found the photos. They had written in the sand 'Jack was ere 16th June' and you can see my house in the back ground. What were the chances of that? All three of her children set foot on that beach, that part of that beach, for the first time on 16th June, the day my son lost his fight.
One of the photos shows Jack on a little fair ground ride thats right by my house. Since they moved here I've been saying we should take the kids there and retake the photos. We went there tonight. Joe sat in the same car in the same seat as Jack was sitting, and the ride started to move. Then a song started to play, it was 'you'll be in my heart', from Tarzan, Jacks song, his funeral song. Jack was there... I cried. We composed ourselves and went to take photos... Harrison has picked up the wrong CF card and it was full, Lena's phone wouldnt take a photo and i got my iphone out and the camera function refused to open.... he was there, we were not allowed to take photos. There is more to life than this world, I'm sure.
