Saturday 4 February 2012: Watching & Waiting .....

The first snow of the year started to fall this afternoon. Toby has been watching excitedly through the window. It's not the first snow he's ever seen, but the first he'll be able to play in.

Had THE most freezing cold ride out on Lime this morning. Even though I had wrapped up warm I totally underestimated how cold it was. Even Lime had a bit of a shiver when I took his rug off to tack him up and he looks like a big woolly mammoth at the moment. I was talking to someone about how he really needs clipping at the moment so maybe it was a protest shiver! Lucky for him my clipper blades need sharpening! Enjoy the snow all xx
