Sunday 12 February 2012: A FARM IN WINTER
So inscribed on the back by Flo Stephenson who painted this stone. It is about six inches in width and I bought it 2o years at a village craft fair for about £2. The painting continues round the whole stone with a continuation of the walls and snow and sheep. An incredible amount of work in such tiny detail, and a treasured possession.
At least I went out to find a patch of snow in the garden to take this blip, because apart from that I am hunkering down indoors in the warm.
