Friday 23 March 2012: Fashion & Embroidery Show, NEC

After working for months the show was finally up and running.

Three of the four costumes are shown here.

Two Gothic outfits; one inspired by Pugin and the other by crows and Victorian Gothic novels, the other inspired by the beautiful coast of Northumberland at Bamburgh. Dress styles based on original Edwardian dress patterns.

La Vie de Boheme - The Life of the Bohemians, very fitting as the Edwardians were often described as "the last of the Bohemians". Pages from the book are included in the "coast" dress.

A very successful, if tiring week! Met lots of wonderful people and lots of opportunities opened up.
