Wednesday 22 May 2013: Green

Much of today had lovely weather, so around 3.15 I thought I would have a change of scene and sit in George Square for a bit and write without the screen to distract me. Often when I do that it's really productive, a change being as good as a rest and all that. I took this picture when I first sat down, it's just as well I did as I hadn't been there 10 minutes when the rain (thankfully not heavy) started. Oh well - the good intentions were there! And at least I got a few minutes of looking at this lovely greenery - the trees have been bare for far too long so I'm relishing all the new growth. Behind the fence is the Edinburgh Labyrinth, which has featured here on a couple of occasions.
