Sunday 19 May 2013: It takes a village to build a burger
I've been meaning to post a blip like this for a while.
I occasionally go into In-N-Out Burger for a quick meal. There are a few things that impress me about the place. One is the enthusiasm of the employees. Another is the freshness of the ingredients on their burgers. But one thing that strikes me is how many people they fit into the kitchen. I don't think I've ever seen fewer than a dozen people in there. And it isn't over-employment; those folks were hustling the whole time while I waited for my burger.
