Saturday 11 May 2013: Evening sky near Loppersum

Evening sky over a rapeseed field between Loppersum and Wirdum, Groningen, The Netherlands.

After a bit of searching, Ton, Niels and I found the rapeseed and tulip fields between Loppersum and Wirdum. Just in time for sunset, which unfortunately was blocked by a layer of clouds. Never mind, we just looked the other way and we all managed to get some great shots I think.

To me, shots like this show what the province of Groningen looks like: endless fields in a flat landscape, with beautiful skies. Another great evening, thanks Ton and Niels!
