Friday 3 May 2013: Greenhouse green fingered bonanza
In our garden, the greenhouse tends to be my wife's domain, other than any heavy lifting or late night slug removal. Friday was a foul, wet and windy day and I popped in when I arrived home from work, just to check the seeds and seedlings and to enjoy the garden but sheltered from the weather. Everything seems to be doing very well in there, with green shoots popping up everywhere. This blip shows the nasturtium seedlings with, in the background, some newly-emerged dwarf sunflowers. I love this time of year for all the emergent vegetation, wild and gardened!
