Wednesday 23 May 2012: Baby blue jays

I've been watching this nest for several days, ever since another walker in the park told me where to find it. This is the first day I was able to capture a clear picture of the little ones. I was told there were three, but I only saw two. The parents were hovering in nearby trees, making sure I wasn't going to harm their babies. I also saw a doe with two tiny fawns, but I wasn't able to get a clear picture of them. Maybe another day. We have warmer weather today, and the sun is shining brightly. Yay, sun!
